Write for a small screen

A message that works on a card may feel crowded inside a phone image. Aim for a sentence or two on the artwork, then put any longer note in the chat message. This keeps both parts readable.

A short message does not have to be vague. Mention the recipient’s favorite breakfast, the plan you are looking forward to, or the habit you appreciate. A concrete detail earns its space more readily than several adjectives.

If you are posting in a group chat, keep private nicknames and personal updates out of the card. Save those for a direct message. The person should be able to decide what the group knows about them.

Messages you can adapt

  • Happy birthday, Lina. Hope today includes your favorite breakfast and no rush.
  • Here is to another year of our long walks and longer conversations.
  • Happy birthday. I am glad we get to do life in the same group chat.
  • Your birthday coffee is on me. Tell me when.
  • Hope your day is as relaxed as you keep saying you want it to be.
  • Happy birthday, and thank you for always answering the voice notes.

Make the wording sound like you

Cut repeated ideas before cutting the detail. “Happy birthday, hope you have a wonderful, lovely, amazing day” can become a single wish plus something the recipient recognizes. Read it at the size it will appear in the chat.

Put it on a HoorayTime card

Open Birthday in HoorayTime and choose an available style. Add the short greeting as editable text. For a portrait, use a photo the person agrees to have used for generation. A new image requires Pro, an available spark and internet access.

After generation, adjust the text size and placement so the words remain clear on a phone. Check the font and color too. Export the image, then choose WhatsApp in your device’s share menu if it is offered. You can also save the image to Photos and attach it yourself in the intended chat. Keep the longer note in the accompanying chat message.

Before you send it

HoorayTime exports a digital image; it does not create a WhatsApp sticker pack or send messages automatically. Inspect the recipient’s name, any generated age numerals and text readability. Confirm the recipient or group before tapping Send in WhatsApp.
