# How to make a personalized holiday greeting card

Choose a festive portrait or illustrated design, then add words that fit the celebration and the person receiving it.

HoorayTime’s Holiday & tradition collection supports festive portraits and illustrated greeting cards. Choose the available style and celebration theme, add your own greeting, and review the details before generating. Personal wording stays editable, so you can keep the message appropriate to the recipient.

## Let the recipient guide the greeting

A holiday card should reflect the celebration the person observes. If you are unsure, use a warm general message rather than assuming religious language or a particular family tradition.

For example: “Wishing you a peaceful celebration and good moments with the people you love.” If you know their preferred greeting, use it in your own words and check the spelling.

## Choose the visual approach

A festive portrait uses a reference photo for a personal image. An illustrated design can center the message without uploading a face. Select from the app’s available visual styles and celebration themes; do not assume that every cultural motif or requested symbol is supported.

AI artwork can introduce unexpected details. Review the generated image as well as the wording, especially when a symbol’s meaning matters to the celebration.

## Create your holiday card

1. Select Holiday & tradition.

2. Choose a portrait or illustrated card style and the available theme that fits.

3. Provide a suitable photo if required and enter the recipient details.

4. Write or adapt the greeting and your sign-off.

5. Generate with Pro and an available spark.

6. Edit text styling and placement, then save or share the PNG.

## Language and sharing

The app interface is available in English, French, Japanese, German, Italian, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic. Switching the interface language does not automatically translate the personal message you wrote. Proofread that message yourself.

You can save an important celebration date in the calendar and request reminders. HoorayTime does not automatically calculate changing holiday dates or send cards on your behalf.
