Use both names when you know them
Twins share an arrival story, but they are two people. If the family has announced the names, include both and check each spelling. You can keep the message short without treating the children as a matched set or assigning them opposite personalities.
Avoid jokes about the parents never sleeping again or having their hands full. If one or both babies need extra care, do not summarize those details in a public card. A private message can simply say you are thinking of the whole family.
Six messages you can adapt
Make one offer specific
If the names are private, address the card to the family instead. Replace a broad promise with something you can do, such as dropping off groceries or walking the dog. Let the parents choose the timing and decline without explaining. Sending congratulations does not create a claim on a visit, a photo or a quick reply.
Put the words on a HoorayTime card
Open Baby & family and choose New arrival. Enter both announced names or the family name in the Baby or family name field. The optional detail can mention twins in editable wording; it does not guarantee a two-baby portrait layout. Little One’s First Portrait requires a photo of one baby. For a shared card without a photo, choose an available illustrated style such as Little arrival. Any child photo used as a reference needs permission from a parent or legal guardian. New generation requires Pro, an available spark and an internet connection.
Check both names and the greeting, then adjust the text, font, color and position. Hiding editable text does not erase lettering embedded in the artwork. Export, save to Photos or share using the phone’s sharing options. HoorayTime does not automatically send the card.
Before you share it
Do not assume every photo-based style supports two babies together. If you make separate portraits, inspect each result because facial details can be reinterpreted. Ask separately for permission to post publicly. Remove medical details and any request for photos or a reply before sending.
